When Simon Jeffreys Jr was born on 13 April 1781, in Franklin, North Carolina, United States, his father, Simon Gray Jeffreys, was 31 and his mother, Sarah Norfleet, was 39. He married Sarah Mildred Yarbrough on 10 December 1811. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. He died on 27 March 1843, in his hometown, at the age of 61.
