When Karna Nicklasdotter was born on 11 February 1764, in Osby, Skåne, Sweden, her father, Niklas Jonsson, was 39 and her mother, Gunnila Jonsdotter, was 35. She married Måns Nilsson on 13 May 1787, in Osby, Östra Göinge, Kristianstad, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 15 July 1829, in her hometown, at the age of 65, and was buried in Osby, Östra Göinge, Kristianstad, Sweden.
