When Hans Nilsson was born on 19 December 1807, in Barsebäck, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Nils Hansson, was 43 and his mother, Karna Nilsdotter, was 36. He lived in Höj, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden in 1874 and Malmö, Malmö Slott, Malmöhus, Sweden in 1880. He died on 8 May 1884, at the age of 76.
