When George Augustus Anson was born in 1802, his father, General Sir George Anson, was 33 and his mother, Frances Hamilton, was 28. He married Lady Barbara Ainslie Park on 4 December 1823, in Madeira, Portugal. He died on 10 May 1829, in Madeira, Portugal, at the age of 27.
