Christina Palsdotter was born on 1 December 1782, in Barsebäck, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden as the daughter of Pal Matsson and Bodel Svensdotter. She married Jon Nilsson on 4 May 1809, in Barsebäck, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 24 May 1871, in Barsebäck, Skåne, Sweden, at the age of 88.
