When Hilligie van Risp was born in 1728, in Lekkerkerk, South Holland, Netherlands, her father, Abraham Cornelissen Veerips, was 39 and her mother, Neeltje Aartsd Knoest, was 33. She married Jan Polleman on 9 January 1757, in Lekkerkerk, South Holland, Netherlands. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She died on 13 April 1775, in her hometown, at the age of 47.
