When Lene Fuifui was born about 1922, in Samoa, her father, Rev. Faleao Fuifui Asiata, was 33 and her mother, Sisi Faleao Toleafoa, was -10. She married Faasalafa Tuimaseve in 1946, in Satupa'itea, Savai'i, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She died on 30 June 1989, in her hometown, at the age of 68.
