When Sigrid Evju was born on 7 October 1882, in Sandsvær, Buskerud, Norway, her father, Johan Halvorsen Evju, was 36 and her mother, Eline Kirstine Pedersdatter Aas, was 24. She married Peder Eberhard Gjerdrum on 24 June 1903, in Efteløt, Kongsberg, Buskerud, Norway. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She lived in Hønefoss, Ringerike, Buskerud, Norway in 1900. She died in 1919, at the age of 37.
