Christian Larsen was born on 28 August 1806 as the son of Lars Clausen and Marthe Pedersdatter. He married Anne Syversdatter on 5 October 1827, in Oslo, Norway. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 23 September 1873, at the age of 67.
