He married Merna Steiner on 9 March 1937. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He lived in Cedar City, Iron, Utah, United States in 1940. He died in August 1981, in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada, United States, at the age of 69, and was buried in Palm Boulder Highway Cemetery, Henderson, Clark, Nevada, United States.
