She married William Harrison Matthews on 18 December 1833, in Hopkins, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters. She died on 26 October 1876, in Crawford, Missouri, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Gibbs Cemetery, Courtois Township, Crawford, Missouri, United States.
