Rosanna Pidcock was born on 19 April 1800, in Mercer, Kentucky, United States as the daughter of Horatio Pidcock and Ann Baker. She married William Harrison Matthews on 18 December 1833, in Hopkins, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters. She died on 26 October 1876, in Crawford, Missouri, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Gibbs Cemetery, Courtois Township, Crawford, Missouri, United States.
