When Anders Nilsson was born on 19 February 1794, in Rävinge, Halland, Sweden, his father, Nils Ingemansson Isgren, was 24 and his mother, Kierstina Greisdotter, was 24. He married Svenborg Larsdotter on 8 April 1822, in Kvibille, Halland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Skrea, Halland, Sweden in 1868. He died on 2 December 1879, in Vapnö, Halland, Sweden, at the age of 85.
