He married Rachael McQuade on 15 November 1804, in Goffstown, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Goffstown, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States in 1850. He died on 3 August 1857, at the age of 91.
