He married Julia Belle Graves on 16 June 1907. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Ashland, Davis, Kansas, United States in 1935 and Boise, Ada, Idaho, United States in 1940. He died on 12 June 1964, at the age of 77, and was buried in Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise, Ada, Idaho, United States.
