When Frantz Peter Sorg was born in 1699, in Heinzenberg, Usingen, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia, Germany, his father, Nicolaus Sorg, was 46 and his mother, Anna Maria Steinhauer, was 50. He married Anna Margaretha Fabritius on 21 February 1726. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He died in February 1758, at the age of 59.
