When Marthe Marie Jørgensen was born on 3 January 1844, in Ugilt, Vennebjerg, Hjørring, Denmark, her father, Jørgen Christian Pedersen, was 21 and her mother, Christine Jensdatter, was 20. She immigrated to New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, United States in 1854 and lived in Tårs, Børglum, Hjørring, Denmark for about 5 years. She died before 15 June 1854.

1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)
The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
