When Ebenezer Wright was born on 3 February 1754, in Northampton, Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Caleb Wright, was 31 and his mother, Sarah Strong, was 27. He married Rebecca Stannard in 1774, in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 9 daughters. He registered for military service in 1781. He died on 8 August 1834, in Addison, Addison, Vermont, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in New Haven West Cemetery, Weybridge, Addison, Vermont, United States.
