When Lusig Nerses Sherinian was born on 6 July 1838, in Zara, Sivas, Türkiye, her father, Nerses Shereen Sherinian, was 35 and her mother, Sarig Bedros Takvorian, was 37. She married Araat E. Zoraian about 1830. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She died on 19 January 1876, in Armenia, at the age of 37.
