When Nerses Shereen Sherinian was born on 11 May 1803, in Zara, Sivas, Türkiye, his father, Sherin Sherinian, was 53 and his mother, Yazguly Yeratsian, was 50. He married Sarig Bedros Takvorian about 1816. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 7 daughters. He died on 16 July 1850, in his hometown, at the age of 47.
