He married Kasanita Fehia Kafoi about 1919, in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He died in 1941, in his hometown, at the age of 39, and was buried in Kolonga, Tongatapu, Tonga.
