Harriett Preston Yadon Dowty January 8, 1862 - April 9, 1945 _____ FORMER BAXTER WOMAN SUCCUMBS IN CALIFORNIA Baxter Springs, Kan., April 12.- Word has been received here by Marvin Newman that his grandmother, Mrs. H. P. Dowty, 84 years old, died Monday at her home in Huntington Beach, Calif., and was buried there yesterday. Mrs. Dowty formerly lived in Baxter Springs. Another grandson, Lee Dowty, lives in Galena.
