When María Teodosia Paula González Pinedo was born on 6 June 1813, in Huejúcar, Jalisco, Mexico, her father, José de la Cruz González Sánchez, was 18 and her mother, Maria Florentina Pinedo Núñez, was 20. She married José de la Trinidad Suárez del Real Nava on 30 January 1832, in San Luis Obispo, Colotlán, Colotlán, Jalisco, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 6 daughters.
