When Carl Frederick Wall was born in July 1795, in Vänersborg, Älvsborg, Sweden, his father, Lars Wall, was 42 and his mother, Ingeborg Månsdotter, was 37. He married Christina Ericsdotter on 4 November 1825, in Vänersborg, Älvsborg, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 19 May 1888, in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 92, and was buried in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah, United States.

1800 · Movement to Washington D.C.

While the growth of the new nation was exponential, the United States didn’t have permanent location to house the Government. The First capital was temporary in New York City but by the second term of George Washington the Capital moved to Philadelphia for the following 10 years. Ultimately during the Presidency of John Adams, the Capital found a permanent home in the District of Columbia.

The Missouri Compromise helped provide the entrance of Maine as a free state and Missouri as a slave state into the United States. As part of the compromise, slavery was prohibited north of the 36°30′ parallel, excluding Missouri.
