She lived in Morris Township, Carroll, Missouri, United States in 1860 and Missouri Township, Chariton, Missouri, United States in 1870. She died on 20 October 1925, in Carroll, Missouri, United States, at the age of 78, and was buried in Plymouth Cemetery, Washington Township, Carroll, Missouri, United States.

1863 · The Battle at Gettysburg
The Battle of Gettysburg involved the largest number of casualties of the entire Civil war and is often described as the war's turning point. Between 46,000 and 51,000 soldiers lost their lives during the three-day Battle. To honor the fallen soldiers, President Abraham Lincoln read his historic Gettysburg Address and helped those listening by redefining the purpose of the war.

Caused by many crimes and breaking the Tenure of Office Act, Many Senators and House Representatives became angry with President Johnson and began discussions of his Impeachment. After a special session of Congress, the Articles of Impeachment were approved by the House and then the Senate. Making Andrew Johnson the first President to be Impeached.
