McConnaughey , Sr., was 24 and her mother, Prudence Thompson, was 17. She married Henry Ferren on 7 December 1820, in Fayette, Pennsylvania, United States. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 1 daughter. She lived in Adams Township, Madison, Indiana, United States in 1860. She died on 21 July 1849, in New Market, Highland, Ohio, United States, at the age of 48, and was buried in New Market Baptist Church Cemetery, New Market, Highland, Ohio, United States.
