She married Heinrich Schärer on 7 April 1856, in Riesbach, Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 8 January 1903, in Horgen, Zürich, Switzerland, at the age of 76.
