Brief Life History of Anstett or Anastasius
When Anstett or Anastasius Guth was born on 24 August 1651, in Sarre-Union, Bas-Rhin, France, his father, Johann Nicholas Guth, was 32 and his mother, Maria Mennels, was 31. He married Maria Catharina Fleischer on 2 June 1671, in Rimsdorf, Bas-Rhin, France. They were the parents of at least 4 daughters. He died on 14 February 1716, at the age of 64, and was buried in Domfessel, Grand Est, France.

1682 · The Palace of Versailles
The Palace of Versailles was originally known as a hunting log and retreat for Louis XII. When Louis XIV took over he moved his family into it. After he died the palace was abandoned. It has since been turned into a museum.
