When Rachel Palin was born on 21 April 1843, in Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville, Les Jardins-de-Napierville, Quebec, Canada, her father, Pierre Palin, was 39 and her mother, Olive Fortin, was 34. She married Narcisse Remillard on 9 November 1858, in Napierville, Les Jardins-de-Napierville, Quebec, Canada. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 6 daughters. She immigrated to United States in 1890 and lived in Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States in 1880 and St. Albans, Franklin, Vermont, United States in 1910. She died about 1910, in Napierville, Les Jardins-de-Napierville, Quebec, Canada, at the age of 68.
