When Andreas Jordansen was born on 19 September 1849, in Saltum, Ålborghus, Denmark, his father, Jordan Andersen, was 56 and his mother, Else Marie Christensdatter, was 32. He married Maren Mortensen on 19 September 1873, in Em, Børglum, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. He lived in Saltum, Hvetbo, Hjørring, Denmark in 1860. He died in 1909, in United States, at the age of 60.
