When Christian Anton Krogh was born on 3 March 1854, in Arendal, Aust-Agder, Norway, his father, Christen Krogh, was 40 and his mother, Anne Johanne Albretsen Iversen, was 40. He married Laura Elise Larsen on 5 July 1893, in Barbu, Nedenes, Norway. They were the parents of at least 6 sons. He lived in Øyestad, Nedenes, Norway in 1865 and Norway in 1891. He died in 1938, at the age of 84, and was buried in Arendal, Aust-Agder, Norway.
