Nau was born about 1792, in Ha`avakatolo, Tongatapu, Tonga. She married Mataele Tu'i'onetoa about 1814, in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She died about 1862, in her hometown, at the age of 72, and was buried in Ha`avakatolo, Tongatapu, Tonga.
