When María Catalina Armendáriz Jaca was born about 1748, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain, her father, Miguel Armendáriz Arraiza, was 24 and her mother, Catalina Jaca Lazcoz, was 24. She married Joseph Bacaicoa Yraurgui on 14 September 1767, in Santa María, Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 21 November 1792, in her hometown, at the age of 45.
