She lived in District 8, Grainger, Tennessee, United States in 1880. She died on 13 September 1885, in Knox, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 66, and was buried in Powell, Knox, Tennessee, United States.

The Missouri Compromise helped provide the entrance of Maine as a free state and Missouri as a slave state into the United States. As part of the compromise, slavery was prohibited north of the 36°30′ parallel, excluding Missouri.

1835 · The Hermitage is Built

The Hermitage located in Nashville, Tennessee was a plantation owned by President Andrew Jackson from 1804 until his death there in 1845. The Hermitage is now a museum.
