When Domingo de Bacaicoa y Artieda was christened on 28 July 1658, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain, his father, Pedro de Bacaicoa Biribil, was 40 and his mother, Maria Lopez de Artieda, was 33. He married Margarita de Ochoa y Echarri on 8 February 1695, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 17 December 1733, in his hometown, at the age of 75.
