When Agaese Tuiavi'i was born about 1868, in Aleipata, Samoa, his father, Tupuola Tuiavii, was 27 and his mother, Kiliga Tui Tonga, was 25. He married Limala'u Sola about 1891, in Upolu, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He died in 1937, in Usoali`i, Samoa, at the age of 70, and was buried in Aleipata, Samoa.
