When Bengta Olasdotter was born on 4 June 1784, in Kågeröd, Malmöhus, Sweden, her father, Ola Svensson, was 33 and her mother, Ingar Ingvarsdotter, was 37. She married Mans Larsson on 28 December 1810. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 8 February 1836, in her hometown, at the age of 51.
