Ann Brown Hudson was born about 1803, in Mason, Kentucky, United States as the daughter of Samuel Hudson. She married William Musgrove on 14 May 1827, in Mason, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 11 May 1845, at the age of 43.

During the New Madrid earthquakes of 1811-1812, the Kentucky Bend or New Madrid Bend was created. It is located in the southwestern corner of Kentucky on the banks of the Mississippi River.
1818 · Jackson Purchase
The western part of Kentucky purchased by Andrew Jackson from the Chickasaw Indians in 1818. It became known as the Jackson Purchase. This included land that wasn't originally part of Kentucky when it became a state.
