When Jacob Andersson was born about 1769, in Ljungby, Kristianstad, Sweden, his father, Anders Gudmundson, was 45 and his mother, Ingar Jonsson, was 32. He married Ingar Jonsson in 1803. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He died in 1818, in Sweden, at the age of 50.
