When Otto Lundqvist was born on 13 October 1876, in Södervidinge, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Sjunne Johnsson Lundqvist, was 35 and his mother, Arna Andersson, was 42. He married Hulda Kristina Bengtsson on 11 January 1901. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He died on 23 March 1963, at the age of 86.
