Jacomijntje Sluijmer was born on 22 February 1801, in Oude Tonge, South Holland, Netherlands as the daughter of Marius Sluijmer and Neeltje Kom. She married Adriaan de Kievit on 28 November 1823. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. She died on 7 April 1849, in her hometown, at the age of 48.
