When Mabel Harris was born on 24 July 1908, in Blackie, Foothills County, Alberta, Canada, her father, Frederick George Harris, was 29 and her mother, Agnes Haggerwood, was 30. She married Leland O'Bray Miles in 1927. She lived in Alberta, Canada in 1916 and Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States in 1950. She died on 29 December 1991, in South Gate, Los Angeles, California, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Rose, Sonoma, California, United States.
