When María Cruz Erdocia Murguía was christened on 8 July 1703, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain, her father, Miguel Erdocia Bacaicoa, was 32 and her mother, María de Murguía Lacunza, was 28. She married Silbestro de Arín, Lacunza on 6 March 1721, in Santa María, Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 3 May 1768, in her hometown, at the age of 64.
