He married Elizabeth Burdge about 1794, in New Jersey, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 22 February 1842, at the age of 70, and was buried in Union Brick Cemetery, Blairstown Township, Warren, New Jersey, United States.
