When Isaac Wilcox was born about 1777, his father, Isaac Wilcox, was 29 and his mother, Rebecca Barber, was 23. He married Sibbel Walton on 21 September 1806. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. He lived in Exeter, Washington, Rhode Island, United States for about 4 years. He died in 1782, at the age of 6.

1780 · French Occupy Newport

During 1780 to 1781, over 12,000 French troops occupy Newport, Rhode Island.

1781 · The First Constitution

Serving the newly created United States of America as the first constitution, the Articles of Confederation were an agreement among the 13 original states preserving the independence and sovereignty of the states.
