When Elizabeth Schlesser was born on 3 November 1822, in Rácz-Militics, Bács-Bodrog, Hungary, her father, Maximilian Schlosser, was 31 and her mother, Rosalia Franzwa, was 29. She married Johann Haas on 11 July 1842, in Batschka, Bács-Bodrog, Hungary. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 7 daughters. She died on 10 April 1898, in her hometown, at the age of 75.
