When Anna Baertschi was born on 4 December 1822, in Eggiwil, Bern, Switzerland, her father, Peter Baertschi, was 56 and her mother, Anna Dubach, was 39. She married Ulrich Aeschbacher on 17 May 1851, in Eggiwil, Bern, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 20 December 1866, at the age of 44.
