Mary Ann Stuart was born on 4 January 1802, in North Mountain, Augusta, Virginia, United States. She married John Wilson on 11 June 1820, in Forgue, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 5 sons. She lived in Carthage Township, Hancock, Illinois, United States in 1860 and Carthage, Hancock, Illinois, United States in 1870. She died on 18 December 1886, in Harrison Township, Champaign, Ohio, United States, at the age of 84.

    The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.

    Name Meaning

    Scottish (Aberdeenshire and Banffshire): variant of Stewart . This French form of the name, there being no W in the French language, was adopted by Mary, Queen of Scots, on her return to Scotland in 1561 and has since come to be more popular among royalists than the earlier spellings.
