Tanimo Faagutu Maae was born on 22 June 1925, in Satalo, Samoa as the daughter of Ailao Faagutu MAAE and Luisa Ailao. She married Saitaase Tataimata Samuelu Ieremia about 1947, in Satalo, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 23 December 2011, in Upolu, Samoa, at the age of 86.
