Lewis Jamison Sr. was born in 1782, in New Castle, Delaware, United States as the son of Alexander Jamison and Jane Jamison. He married Mary Clark on 21 April 1807, in Red Lion, New Castle, Delaware, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He died in May 1818, in his hometown, at the age of 36.
