When Frances Idella Lemmon was born on 29 March 1882, in Robinson, Crawford, Illinois, United States, her father, Thomas Benton Lemmon, was 36 and her mother, Dorinda Jane Hambrick, was 35. She married Harry E Clerk. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Sikeston, Scott, Missouri, United States in 1910 and Tywappity Township, Mississippi, Missouri, United States in 1920. She died on 1 July 1962, in Carbondale, Jackson, Illinois, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Carbondale Township, Jackson, Illinois, United States.

1885 · The First Skyscraper
The Home Insurance Building is considered to be the first skyscraper in the world. It was supported both inside and outside by steel and metal that were deemed fireproof and also it was reinforced with concrete. It originally had ten stories but in 1891 two more were added.
